We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to serve our community! We rely on 360+ volunteer hours per week to run our programs. All ages are welcome with a responsible adult. Grocery Rescue Drivers and Riders Needed

Mill Creek Community Food Bank has a great need for volunteer drivers and riders (assistants) to cover the various grocery store pickups each week from our local partners. We collect from various local grocery stores on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

We need responsible people that can collect from local grocery stores each week. This is how the food bank collects a lot of our fresh produce, protein, and other food staples to distribute to the people of our community.

If you are interested in driving or riding along and helping load donations, please email:

foodbank@hopecreekcf.org

Delivery Drivers Needed

We are looking for drivers to deliver bags of groceries to those individuals in our local home delivery program.

Deliveries consist of no longer than two hour shifts. Locations are usually grouped together and may consist of 2 to 5 deliveries. Deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There are many routes and times available.

If you can drive and volunteer a few hours of your time to those in need, please email:

foodbank@hopecreekcf.org

Drivers Needed on Thursdays

Do you have a few hours a week to help your community?
Are you available from 8 am to 11 am on Thursdays?
Can you drive a 26 ft long truck?

Mill Creek Community Food Bank is looking for volunteer drivers to drive our large delivery truck from Mill Creek to Arlington on Thursday mornings to transport food from our supplier to our food bank.

If you are interested and able to drive the 26ft truck, please email:

foodbank@hopecreekcf.org

AARP Senior Workforce

Hope Creek Partners with AARP. AARP offers multiple programs to help older adults find employment, including the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) and BACK TO WORK 50+:
This program places unemployed job seekers who are at least 55 years old and have a low income in community service positions at non-profit, government, or community agencies. Job seekers are paid at least the minimum wage and receive on-the-job training. The program is funded by a U.S. Department of Labor grant, with AARP matching 10% of the funds.

Community Service Hours

Hope Creek is a certified charitable organization that can officially document community service hours for individuals. If you need to fulfill court-ordered requirements or high school graduation service hours, be sure to register as a volunteer and sign in every day you work.

Important: Individuals with court-ordered community service MUST check in at the office upon arrival on their first day of service.

We look forward to working with you to make a positive impact in our community!
