Our goal is to help individuals realize they have the power to take control of their health by providing approachable and informative guides on testing for various conditions, infections, and diseases. Each year there are approximately 20 million new STD infections, and those who are infected can unknowingly transmit these infections to others, while also risking their own health. It’s critical for sexually active individuals to get regularly tested for STDs, but since some people are uncomfortable talking to a healthcare provider, or feel it’s an inconvenience to go out to a clinic, they may opt-out.

Our new resource covers the best at-home STD tests and outlines how they work as well as their reliability. The resource also answers FAQs, such as “Are test results private?” and “What happens if my test results are positive?”
