ABOUT HOPE CREEK
Please Help Us With Our Challenges in 2025
In 2024, we served over 80,400 individuals and 20,786 families. Our biggest challenge is the logistics required to receive, store, and distribute food to our community members without having a permanent building or loading docks. We currently set up portable tents in a parking lot, and transport the food from our storage units to the tents, which allows our community members to shop in a farmer’s market style set-up. Our volunteers set up and take down these pop-up tents just about every day.
Our food bank operates 50 weeks a year, braving the elements to ensure no one goes hungry. From the freezing cold to the summer heat, our dedicated team of volunteers shows up, taking a one week break in July and one at the end of December. Rain or shine, sleet or hail—we're here! If you are coming to volunteer, don't forget to dress appropriately for the weather outside.
We are fundraising for a permanent building that will provide loading docks and help to shelter from the rain. Please donate to this project and help us to shelter and protect our food, volunteers, and our clients. Thank you.
CARE
By welcoming individuals into a community where their needs are met generously, we help them experience hope. As their posture changes they can begin to give generously, contributing to the healing of the community as a whole.
CONNECTION
Our commitment to exceptional generosity is inspired by the generosity we have received from others. We aim to provide beyond what is necessary or expected, communicating the value of each person and inspiring hope.
COMMUNITY
We believe the shift from a perspective of scarcity to that of hope cannot happen in isolation. Therefore, we prioritize building a healthy community where every member, including guests, volunteers, staff, and donors, is both on the receiving and giving end of exceptional generosity.
MISSION
To alleviate food insecurity among vulnerable populations while fostering community engagement and support through meaningful relationships and comprehensive services.
VISION
Fostering a community where no one goes hungry, everyone feels cared for, connected, and valued. Move from line to life.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to meet immediate needs like food while living out our values of Community, Generosity, and Hope. Thanks to our community’s support, we can give beyond expectations.
